Paul Ince has lauded Maurizio Sarri for his style of play at Chelsea, terming the football being churned out by the Blues "sublime".

Chelsea continued their 100 per cent start to the season on Saturday afternoon by beating Bournemouth 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Sarri's men, who do not have to worry about the demands of Champions League football this season, are only behind Premier League leaders Liverpool on goal difference.

Ince is impressed with how quickly the Chelsea players have taken on board Sarri's ideas after he arrived in the summer.

"What Sarri has done is brought in the players, but also hit the ground running", Ince said on the BBC's Final Score programme.

"The players are that clever that they have taken it on board at an early stage of the season.

"Some of their play is sublime and some of the football they are playing is sublime."

Chelsea will have to wait to make it five wins in five games due to the arrival of the international break, meaning Sarri's men are not next in action until 15th September, when Cardiff City visit Stamford Bridge.

They then dip their toe in the Europa League with a trip to Greece to play PAOK Salonika.
