Olivier Giroud is not willing to rule out an exit from Chelsea, but claims the Blues are happy with him at present.

The former Arsenal striker has seen new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri prefer to start with other attacking options this season, restricting Giroud to the bench.




He stayed put at Stamford Bridge throughout the summer transfer window, with the early closure of the Premier League window hindering any chance to leave.

Giroud could head elsewhere if he remains sparingly used by Chelsea and the Frenchman is not willing to rule out an exit despite admitting the Blues are pleased with him.
 


"I have one more year on my contract and an option for another season", Giroud told Telefoot.

"The club bosses are happy with me, but I do not exclude anything.

The striker has managed just 40 minutes of football for Chelsea so far this season, but Sarri may hand him game time in the Europa League.

Chelsea have been placed in Group L in the Europa League, alongside BATE Borisov, Vidi FC and PAOK Salonika.
