Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers believes his side should have registered a heavier win over Rangers than the 1-0 scoreline on Sunday, with Bhoys fans weighing in on social media.

The Celtic boss was quick to say after the match: "Maybe the scoreline makes it look a bit tighter but I thought we were the really dominant team."

With the win Rodgers extended his unbeaten record against the Gers to 12 matches and his side are currently second in the Scottish Premiership behind Hearts. Twitter user and Celtic fan Danny stated the manager won the touchline 'war' as Paul Sheeran added the result was never in doubt.

Ross H was in total agreement with his manager and reckoned that the Celts should have scored more than one goal after bossing the game.

Tommy_the_Tim found the off-the-ball intensity shown by the Bhoys 'amazing', adding that the team caused more problems for Rangers without the ball than with it.

While Holygoalie82 was proud of Rodgers' handling of the club the entire time he has been at Celtic Park, Taher Benazouz trusted the manager to deliver.

Meanwhile, Gogo thought Rodgers outwitted his rival Steven Gerrard and controlled him like a puppet-master.
