Rangers youngster Zak Rudden has compared his one aspect of game with that of Barcelona and Uruguay star Luis Suarez.

The young striker hit the back of the net for Rangers' Academy on a regular basis last season and is looking to kick on with his development this term.

Just 18 years old, Rudden is still working on his game, but believes he shares a key quality with Suarez.

The Barcelona attacker is known for his work rate and harrying of defenders in a bid to win back possession for his side.

Rudden believes that his game is similar to the Uruguayan and when asked who he would compare himself with, had no hesitation in picking the Barcelona man.

"I would kind of say in a pesty way like Suarez", Rudden said on Rangers TV.

"So yes, Suarez [but] in a pesty way", he added.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard involved Rudden over pre-season and was vocal in his praise for the young striker.

Rudden found the back of the net in a 6-0 friendly romp over Bury.

The Rangers youngster is currently on a six-month loan at Scottish Championship side Falkirk.
