Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos insists he is sure that Leroy Sane can be a real weapon for Germany, though the winger's body language needs to improve.

Sane, who was left out of the Germany squad that travelled to Russia despite his sublime first season in the Premier League with Manchester City last season, was named alongside Kroos for the games against France and Peru this week.

Kroos, who was a vital cog in Germany’s success in the World Cup in 2014, is a big fan of Sane and his ability to hurt opposing sides..

But Kroos knows Sane's body language is not always the best and has urged the youngster to make sure his attitude is spot on as he attempts to fulfil his potential.

"Sometimes you have the feeling with Leroy's body language that it's all the same if we win or lose", Kroos a press conference.

"He's a player who has everything you need to be a world class player but sometimes you have to tell him he has to perform better.

What is crystal clear is his quality, his pace, his left foot. If he performs, he's a real weapon.

"He has the quality, especially for us, but maybe the head coach looked at his performances for the national team and wasn't happy.

"He was fantastic for Manchester City last year but Pep has the same problem at the moment; he's trying to get the best out of him", he added.

Sane was adjudged PFA Young Player of the Year for his 10 goals and 15 assists during Manchester City’s title winning campaign last season, but he is yet to start a single game so far and was left out of the squad that faced Newcastle United on Saturday.
