Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda has made his unofficial debut for Vitesse.

Musonda won a race against the clock on deadline day to complete a loan move to Dutch top flight outfit Vitesse.

He had penned an 18-month loan deal with Scottish champions Celtic in January, but after failing to make an impact north of the border, the agreement was terminated in the summer.

Musonda is now in the Netherlands and he lined up for a behind-closed-doors friendly match against Antwerp in Belgium on Saturday.

The Chelsea youngster made his unofficial debut as the friendly game ended 0-0.

Both sides missed penalties in the friendly encounter, while Antwerp hit the post and also had a goal ruled out for offside.

Musonda will hope to have used the friendly to build up an understanding with his new team-mates ahead of potentially making his official debut after the international break.

Vitesse are in action against PEC Zwolle in an Eredivisie fixture on 16th September.
