Leeds United youngster Callum Nicell is delighted to have the chance to learn from Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker, revealing he gives guidance on the pitch.

The Yorkshire giants snapped up Baker from Chelsea in the summer transfer window on a season-long loan deal as they strengthened their midfield options.

He has struggled to get into the team at Elland Road though and Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa opted to field Baker in an Under-23s game recently to keep him match sharp.

Young midfielder Nicell lined up alongside the Chelsea man and picked him out as a player to learn from.

Nicell insists that Baker is a talker during games, while he also took note of the positions the midfielder took up on the pitch.

"You learn a lot from them [the first teamers], especially Baker", Nicell said on LUTV.

"He is a similar position to me.

"The way he just talks to me, the positions where he picks the ball up, I can only learn a lot from them", the youngster added.

Baker has clocked up just 78 minutes of Championship football during his loan stint with Leeds so far this season, picking up a single yellow card in the process.
