Marcelo Bielsa believes his Leeds United will face similar challenges at Millwall on Saturday as they encountered against Middlesbrough before the international break.

Leeds went into the break as Championship leaders on the back of a 0-0 draw at Elland Road against Tony Pulis’ Boro side, who are currently second in the league table.

The Whites return to action with a trip to London on Saturday when they take on Millwall and are facing an injury crisis in their forward line with both Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe out at the moment.

However, Bielsa believes his side are well-rehearsed for the challenges they will face at Millwall because of the experience they had against Middlesbrough before the break.

He believes the two sides pose similar kinds of problems with their physical and direct football and feels Leeds are obligated to do better this weekend as they already played Boro.

Bielsa said in a press conference: “I think the game against Boro prepared us for this coming game.

“We have the obligation to improve our performance because before playing against Boro we knew what opposition we would face.

“Against Millwall, it is more important because we know what opposition we will face and also because we have the experience playing this kind of game.”

Leeds lost 1-0 on their last trip to Millwall in September last year.
