Former Leeds United midfielder David Prutton believes that the Whites are facing their "first mini crisis" of the season after losing two strikers to injury, which will give a huge boost to Millwall, their opponents this afternoon.

Summer signing Patrick Bamford is expected to be sidelined for several months after suffering a knee injury during an Under-23 match against Bristol City.

Kemar Roofe on the other hand has picked up a calf injury and is set to be out for two or three weeks, leaving Marcelo Bielsa's team short on options up front.

Prutton, who played for the Whites from 2007 to 2010, insists that Leeds' loss will be a huge boost for their rivals Millwall, who are coming off a loss against Swansea City.

"Leeds are facing their first mini crisis of the season after losing both their strikers to injury this week", Prutton wrote in his column for Sky Sports.

"Patrick Bamford being ruled out for several months is a huge blow and Kemar Roofe also looks set to miss the trip to Millwall.

"This will give Millwall a huge boost after a run of three straight defeats, especially after throwing away that lead against 10-man Swansea before the break.

"If Roofe was fit I'd have to back another Leeds win here, but without him I'm going to go for a draw."

The Whites are currently placed at the top of the Championship table, with 14 points from six games, but the Lions will be boosted by the fact that their record against the Peacocks has been good.
