Luton Town boss Nathan Jones admits he is hoping that Eunan O'Kane, on loan from Leeds United, has a clean break to his leg, after he was forced off in a 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

O'Kane is on loan at League One side Luton from Leeds until the new year and has made a positive impression already in his short time at Kenilworth Road.

But he headed to hospital after being forced off against Bristol Rovers with ten minutes left and Jones confirmed that he has a suspected broken leg.

The Luton boss feels for O'Kane and is hoping for a clean break and a swift recovery.

"It's clear the injury is a bad one and we are gutted for the boy. He is a great, great pro and he has been brilliant since he came here", Jones was quoted as saying by his club's official site.

"He has shown real class since he got here. I really feel for him.

"Our thoughts are with him, God willing there are no complications with it.

"Hopefully it's a clean break and it's a matter of weeks, rather than months. I will be praying for him tonight."

O'Kane has made four appearances across all competitions for Luton this season, having been persuaded to drop into League One to secure an exit and playing time away from Leeds.

The midfielder, who is out of Marcelo Bielsa's plans at Elland Road, has made 58 appearances for Leeds.
