Millwall striker Aiden O’Brien insists that the Lions' loss against Swansea City was a bitter pill to swallow, but insists they have used the international break to fully refresh for the visit of Leeds United.

The Swans were down to ten men within the first five minutes at the Den on 1st September after Courtney Baker-Richardson was sent off for a lunge on James Meredith.

The situation went further in favour of the home side after they went 1-0 up in the 62nd minute, but Neil Harris' men failed to put the game to bed and the Swans managed to come back and win the match 2-1.

O’Brien insists that the manner of the loss was disappointing, but now that Millwall have come back after the international break, the aim will be to start fresh and win against the rivals Leeds to get the season rolling again.

“We need to get the win; the Swansea game was difficult to get out of my mind", O’Brien told his club's official website.

"It was tough when they had 10 men to go one up and then lose in the last few minutes, but we’ve had the break now, and the boys look sharp in training.

“Three points on the board, and we can get our season rolling.”

O'Brien was on the scoresheet the last time the two sides met in January, with the Lions winning the match 4-3 on that occasion.
