Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has apologised for an angry exchange in the dugout towards the end of the Whites' 1-1 draw at Millwall.

Bielsa saw his men fall behind in a fiesty encounter at the Den when Jed Wallace took advantage of the visitors failing to clear a long throw to fire Millwall ahead in the 55th minute.

But up popped Manchester City loanee Jack Harrison in the 89th minute to convert from the edge of the box and secure a share of the spoils for Leeds.

There was no shortage of action in the dugout as the game rumbled on and Bielsa apologised for an angry which took place with his Millwall counterparts, insisting that he should have calmed his behaviour.

"I take responsibility for this situation because I'm in football longer than my colleague [Millwall manager Neil Harris]", Bielsa told his post match press conference.

"If you win or you lose, it means a lot for us. Sometimes we behave in a way and then after, we lament our behaviour.

"I have the obligation not to behave like this and I shouldn't allow myself to behave like this", the experienced Argentine tactician continued.

"When you get more experienced, you should moderate your behaviour. That is why I apologise."

The draw means Leeds remain at the top of the Championship table after taking 15 points from their opening ten matches.
