Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa believes that Preston North End find themselves in a false position and do not deserve to be where they are in the league table.

The Lilywhites are the only side to have beaten the Peacocks this season, in the EFL Cup, where Alex Neil's side managed to win 2-0 and thus knocked the Elland Road-based side out of the tournament.

Preston though have been in disappointing form in the league and have managed to win just one of their seven league games, losing four.

The manager of the team topping the table feels that the league position of Preston does not reflect how they have been playing.

Praising their opponents, the veteran manager said that Neil's side have players that can move the ball, and are all about mixing skills with aggression and they are not at all deserving of their position.

"They are a special team", Bielsa said at a press conference.

"Preston's players have the skills to move the ball.

"It's a mix between skills and aggression and it's an attractive mix.

"They have a position in the table they do not deserve."

The Whites will be desperate for a win on Tuesday after dropping points against Millwall on Saturday.
