Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has expressed confidence about his side’s chances ahead of tonight’s Champions League showdown against Inter at the Giuseppe Miazza Stadium.

Spurs will open their Champions League campaign against Inter in a group which also contains La Liga winners Barcelona and Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven.

Tottenham are going into the game on the back of two defeats to Watford and Liverpool in the league respectively and are desperate to hit some form as soon as possible.

Levy has travelled to Italy to watch his side take on one of the giants of Serie A and the Spurs chairman is looking forward to a good game between the two sides.

However, he insisted that he has every confidence in Tottenham and believes they can get a result in Milan.

Speaking to Sky Italia, the Spurs chairman said: “Milan is a beautiful city and I cannot wait for the match to start.

“Inter-Tottenham will be a good game, but I am always confident about my Spurs team.”

Tottenham scored a famous 4-3 win over Inter the last time the two sides met in Italy in the 2010/11 Champions League campaign.
