Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has taken a potshot at his dire finishing against Preston North End on Tuesday night.

Klich has been in good goalscoring form this season at Leeds and has netted three goals in eight league appearances for the Yorkshire giants after convincing Marcelo Bielsa about his quality over the summer.

The Pole again played a key role in Leeds’ 3-0 win over Preston on Tuesday night and provided the assist for Tyler Roberts’ second goal at Elland Road.

However, the midfielder was guilty of missing a couple of guilt edged opportunities during the game and could have himself bagged a brace against Preston.

Klich posted a photo on Instagram of the Leeds players celebrating and expressed his delight at the spirit inside the squad.

However, he is also acutely aware of his missed chances on Tuesday night and indicated that he needs to better at the weekend.
