Fixture: Manchester City vs Lyon
Competition: Champions League
Kick-off: 20:00 (UK time)

Manchester City have revealed their starting eleven and substitutes to play host to French giants Lyon in a Champions League fixture at the Etihad Stadium this evening.

The Citizens will start as firm favourites to take all three points and start their group stage adventure on a positive note.

Boss Pep Guardiola will be without left-back Benjamin Mendy, who is continuing to recover from a knee injury, while Kevin De Bruyne remains sidelined.

The Manchester City boss selects Ederson in goal, while in defence he opts for Kyle Walker, John Stones, Aymeric Laporte and Fabian Delph at the back. Fernandino, David Silva and Bernardo Silva play, while Raheem Sterling will look to supply Gabriel Jesus.

If Guardiola, who will watch the match from the stands due to a touchline ban, needs to make changes then he can look to his bench, where options available include Sergio Aguero and Riyad Mahrez.
