Lyon are preparing to slap a hefty price tag on Tottenham Hotspur midfield target Tanguy Ndombele for next summer's transfer window.

The 21-year-old midfielder attracted interest from clubs during the recently concluded transfer window, but decided against leaving the club after just one season.

The Frenchman was on the radar of Tottenham in the summer and Spurs put in a bid for him, but the midfielder has made it clear that he wants to play for Lyon for at least one more season before thinking about a move.

Ndombele stole the show in a midfield role on Wednesday night against Manchester City in his first appearance in a Champions League group stage game for Les Gones.

He played a big part in Lyon getting a shock 2-1 win and according to French outlet Buzz Sport, the club are set to recalibrate their asking price for the Frenchman at the end of the season.

The Ligue 1 giants are expecting several clubs to knock on their door for Ndombele next summer if he continues to play at such a high level this season.

Ndombele, who has a contract until 2023 with Lyon, is yet to break into the senior French national team, but has been a regular for the Under-21s.
