Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain target Stanislav Lobotka has refused to rule out a move away from Celta Vigo during the January transfer window.

Lobotka joined the Spanish La Liga outfit from FC Nordsjaelland last summer and quickly established himself as a regular under the then coach Juan Carlos Unzue.

The midfielder played a part in every single league game for Celta Vigo during the 2017/18 season and caught the eye with his consistent performances that helped his team throughout the campaign.

The 23-year-old, who has earned 11 international caps for Slovakia since making his debut in 2016, was linked with both Tottenham and PSG during the summer transfer window.

Despite the interest from some of Europe’s big guns, Celta Vigo were able to hold on to their player, but recent developments in the saga mean that Lobotka is not ruling out a switch during the January transfer window.

"I had many offers from clubs, but I will play for Celta until at least the middle of the season”, Lobotka was quoted as saying by Italian outlet Tutto Mercato.

“It is clear that all Celta players would like to play for big European clubs.

“Everyone has the ambition to play in the Champions League”, he added.

Lobotka has started every single league game for Antonio Mohamed’s side so far this season and looks set to play a crucial role for his team at least until January.
