Chelsea legend Tommy Langley says that he knows all about Videoton FC and insisted that the Blues can win the Europa League group game comfortably even if they field a second string side.

Videoton are the league champions from Hungary and have been drawn alongside Chelsea, PAOK and Bate Borisov in Group L of the competition.

Marko Nikolic’s men suffered a 2-0 loss to BATE Borisov during matchday one in the Europa League and will now face the daunting prospect of facing Chelsea when they travel to Stamford Bridge next week.

The Blues are favourites heading into the game and it is widely thought a formality for Maurizio Sarri’s men to shrug off the challenge on offer from the visitors.

Langley, who started his professional career with Chelsea, revealed that he knows everything about the Hungarian champions and insisted that the Blues can win the game comprehensively even if they field a second string side.

"Videoton in a couple of weeks’ time, I think we will win quite comfortably with a lesser side”, Langley said on Chelsea TV.

“I know that side quite well.

"I look after the right-back there, so I know what they do; he's a wing-back”, he added.

Chelsea were held to a 0-0 draw by West Ham on Sunday and will next face Liverpool in the EFL Cup and Premier League on Wednesday and Saturday respectively, before playing Videoton at Stamford Bridge.
