Manchester United and Arsenal are considering making offers for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old Ivory Coast attacker has made a solid start to the season in Ligue 1 and has scored four goals and provided three assists in the first six league games.

His performances in France have not gone unnoticed as clubs start preparing their shortlist for the winter transfer window and he has again been attracting interest from England.

He has previously attracted the interest of clubs such as Newcastle, but according to France Football, two big Premier League clubs are considering signing him in January.

It has been claimed Arsenal and Manchester United are expected to table offers to convince Lille to sell the right-sided attacker during the winter window.

The Gunners are looking to make additions to their squad in January and Pepe has emerged as a target for the club.

Manchester United were in the market for a right-sided attacker in the summer as well, but failed to bring in one before the window slammed shut.

Jose Mourinho wants additions to his squad in January after a less than impressive summer and the Lille winger is firmly on his radar.
