Roma are prepared to offer a number of young talents to Genoa as part of a deal to sign striker Krzysztof Piatek, who has also been linked with Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

Signed from KS Cracovia for €4m in the summer, the 23-year-old Polish striker has made a fantastic start for Genoa in Italy, scoring nine goals in his first seven Serie A appearances.

The striker's performances have forced clubs to take notice of his talent and he has been heavily linked with a move to sides such as Juventus and AC Milan in Italy.

He has also been attracting interest from Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham, but according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Roma are the ones who are putting together a detailed plan to sign Piatek.

It has been claimed that they are planning to offer a number of young talents, who Genoa have been tracking, as part of a deal to get their hands on Piatek.

Roma are also looking to exploit their good relationship with Italian agent Gabriele Giuffrida, who played a part in Piatek’s arrival at Genoa in the summer.

Giuffrida maintains close relations with the Roma hierarchy, including with sporting director Monchi, and has previously been involved in negotiations between Genoa and the Giallorossi.

However, for the moment Genoa are not reportedly prepared to sell the player in the middle of the season, which means a move in January might not happen.
