RB Leipzig head coach Ralf Rangnick has warned Celtic about the Bulls’ impressive goalscoring form ahead of the meeting between the two sides in the Europa League on Thursday.

The fourth round of games in the Europa League group stage will ensure that Celtic go head-to-head with RB Leipzig on Thursday during a highly-contested affair at Parkhead in Group B of the competition.

Brendan Rodgers’ men suffered a disappointing 2-0 loss during the reverse fixture in Germany last month, but have managed to win every single game since then while scoring 13 goals and conceding none during that time.

Leipzig have also managed to keep three successive clean sheets after that win over Celtic and Rangnick warned the Scottish champions about his team’s impressive goalscoring form in the last few games.

"When you see how well we performed, it makes you desperate for the next game so we want to play Celtic now”, Rangnick told reporters following the 3-0 win over Hertha Berlin.

"I am genuinely excited about this team.

"We go into every game thinking we will score goals and the defence has been great recently and has tightened up."

Celtic recorded an emphatic 5-0 win over league leaders Hearts on Saturday in the Premiership and are on a commendable goalscoring run themselves, despite struggling to replicate similar form in Europe this season.
