Juventus recently got in touch with the entourage of Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford to probe the possibility of signing him.

Rashford has emerged as a possible target for the Italian champions as the forward continues to struggle to become a certain starter under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

The youngster has played a lot of football over the last few seasons but there is a feeling Rashford’s progress has stalled as he is not getting into the starting eleven week-in-week-out.

Juventus have been keeping tabs on his situation and are interested in taking him to Italy in the future.

And according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the Italian champions have spoken with the player’s entourage to assess whether the player is ready to leave Manchester United.

Juventus are also trying to understand whether there is any appetite at Manchester United to sell one of the success stories of their academy.

The Red Devils are unlikely to consider selling the forward and it is uncertain whether Rashford would like to leave his boyhood club and move to Italy.

The striker has a contract until 2020, with Manchester United holding the option to extend it for one more year.
