Inter will consider offers to sell Chelsea and Manchester United defensive target Milan Skriniar in the January transfer window.

The centre-back's performances last season brought him to the attention of a few clubs in Europe, but Inter resisted selling him last summer despite a few tempting offers.

The Nerazzurri have been working on offering him a new contract since the end of last season, but negotiations have not moved forward because of the defender’s wage demands.

Manchester United have continued to monitor developments regarding Skriniar and there were suggestions that Inter received a big money offer from Chelsea for January move for the defender.

Inter are claimed to have denied receiving any such bid from the Blues, but according to Italian daily Tuttosport, the club are ready to consider such offers if they receive them in January.

The Serie A giants are gradually losing hope of convincing the defender to sign on fresh terms and there are claims the club could cash in on him this winter.

If Inter are prepared to listen to offers for Skriniar, clubs are expected to come knocking on their door over the next few weeks.

The Slovak has emerged as a coveted centre-back in European football over the last 18 months.
