Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri believes that only Manchester City and Liverpool are guaranteed a top four finish, while at least four or five other teams will have to fight for the other two positions.

The Pensioners are one of the three sides in the league that have not lost a match yet this season. However, the gap between themselves and league leaders Manchester City is four points already after 12 games.

Jurgen Klopp meanwhile has Liverpool in second and the Reds and hold a two-point lead over Chelsea, with Sarri now sure only they and Manchester City are guaranteed a top four spot.

The Italian believes that there are three other teams apart from his own side that will be vying for the two remaining places in the Champions League.

"I think at the moment in the Premier League there is a team above the others and this team is Manchester City", Sarri said at a press conference.

"Then there is a very good team, Liverpool. For sure Liverpool will be in the first four positions.
