AC Milan striker Patrick Cutrone has revealed that he has always been a big fan of Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.

Morata has struggled to find any sort of consistency since moving to England with Chelsea from Real Madrid in 2017 and is yet to properly settle down at Stamford Bridge.

However, the Spaniard remains a much admired striker in Italy because of his two seasons at Juventus and Cutrone admits that Morata is someone he has idolised.

The 20-year-old hitman admits that the Spaniard’s movement and pace are something he wants to learn from as he continues to develop in his own career as a striker.

The Italian said on DAZN: “My idol has always been Morata.

“He has some qualities that I like very much – his pace and he is not bad in front of goal as well.

“He has always done well.

"I admire him.”

Morata won two league titles and played in a Champions League final during his two years in Italy with Juventus.

The Spaniard was the then club record signing for Chelsea in 2016, but is yet to justify his billing with consistent performances.
