Fulham have made a move for Inter winger Antonio Candreva and have enquired about the possibility of signing him.

The 31-year-old has been a fringe player at Inter over the last few weeks and he has been linked with a move away from the club in the fast approaching January transfer window.

Inter are expecting to sell the winger in the near future and there has already been talk of a move to the Premier League for Candreva.

West Ham are considering taking him to England, but another London-based club have moved the first piece on the transfer chessboard with regards to signing Candreva.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Fulham have lodged an enquiry about Candreva and are interested in talks to sign the Inter winger in the coming months.

The negotiations are expected to be complicated and they are far from agreeing a deal, but Fulham are very much interested in exploring the possibility of signing the Italian.

Claudio Ranieri wants to spend in January as he looks to shepherd Fulham’s bid to avoid relegation in their first season back in the Premier League.

It remains to be seen whether any concrete talks do take place between Fulham, Inter and Candreva’s representatives in the coming weeks, while West Ham could yet get involved.
