Juventus officials are set to watch Manchester City and Tottenham target Tanguy Ndombele in action this weekend.

The midfielder was wanted by both Premier League clubs last summer, but Lyon didn’t want to let him go and the Frenchman himself was not keen to leave the club.

Tottenham have continued to watch him this season and there are also suggestions that Manchester City are also considering snaring him away from Lyon.

Italian champions Juventus have also been interested in the 21-year-old midfielder and are set to step up their scouting on the midfielder.

Juventus scouts watched him in action earlier this season and according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, officials from the Italian champions will be present when Lyon take on Lille at the weekend.

They are not only planning to run the rule over Ndombele one more time, but also get in touch with the player’s entourage and establish a positive relationship with them.

Juventus are aware of the level of interest the midfielder has been attracting and are trying to conduct transfer talks early in order to avoid participating in an auction for Ndombele.

Lyon could sell him in summer and are waiting for more clubs to get involved in the transfer chase.
