Inter are stepping up their pursuit of Liverpool and Wolves targeted teen defender Jean-Clair Todibo.

The 18-year-old defender, who is on the books at French club Toulouse, is out of contract in the summer and his situation has attracted a number of clubs.

Toulouse want to keep Todibo, but have conceded that the centre-back is looking for a hefty financial package, and clubs have been speaking to the player's representatives to jockey for position.

Liverpool and Wolves are keen on Todibo, while Juventus, Inter and Napoli are also firm fans of the teenager.

In advance of January, when Todibo can sign a pre-contractual agreement, Inter are now stepping up their efforts to win the race, according to Italian broadcaster Rai Sport.

Juventus and Napoli are claimed to have already offered terms to the defender's representatives.
