Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to offer €52m to Roma in a bid to try and lure Cengiz Under away from the Stadio Olimpico, but Bayern Munich could yet become involved in the chase, it has been claimed.

The Giallorossi rebuffed offers in the region of €35m for the Turkey international during the summer transfer window, after they demanded an asking price of about €50m for the services of the player.

Now, according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Spurs are now prepared to offer more than the asking price for Under in a bid to try and persuade the Italian giants to cash in on the winger.

However, the north Londoners could be in a race with Bayern Munich, who may see Under as a like-for-like replacement for Arjen Robben.

The 21-year-old is under contract with Roma until 2022 and is expected to fetch a hefty transfer fee if the club are ready to loosen their firm grip on the player.

Under, who joined Roma from Istanbul-based Basaksehir in the summer of 2017, has directly contributed to nine goals across all competitions so far this term.

The 21-year-old is also a senior Turkey international, with ten caps and four goals to his name.
