Manchester United have not made any contact with Tottenham Hotspur regarding the possibility of speaking to Mauricio Pochettino, according to the BBC.

The Red Devils are currently eighth in the Premier League table and are without a win in their last four league games.




The pressure on Jose Mourinho has been steadily growing as his team continue to struggle to find any kind of consistency and there are big question marks over his future at the club.

There have already been rumours that Manchester United are potential scouring for Mourinho’s replacement and Pochettino has been reported to be a candidate.
 


The Premier League giants would need to speak to Tottenham first to open talks with Pochettino.

But it has been claimed that no movement has been made with regards to getting the Argentine and there has been no contact between Manchester United and Tottenham.

Manchester United executive chairman Ed Woodward has appeared reluctant to dispense with Mourinho.

The Red Devils are struggling to push up into the top four race however.
