Eddie Gray is wary of Queens Park Rangers’ attacking threat, especially with Leeds United missing a number of key defenders due to injuries.

Leeds have won their last three games on the bounce, without conceding a goal, but the Whites defence has been stretched due to players dropping out due to injuries.

Luke Ayling, Gaetano Berardi, Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas are all out at the moment and Marcelo Bielsa has been forced to play youngsters such as Aapo Halme and Jamie Shackleton at the back.

While QPR are eleventh in the league, they have failed to score in just one of their last five games coming into the clash at Elland Road today and have scored four goals in their last two away trips.

Gray admits that there is cause for worry for Leeds at home today due to their defensive injuries and QPR’s ability to find the back of the net at regular intervals.

The Leeds legend said on LUTV: “They can score goals and there is one game in the last five where they haven’t scored.

“We are under pressure a little bit from the point of view injuries and basically to all the defenders.

“There are a couple of forward players who are injured but basically it is our defenders – Ayling is out, Berardi is out, our skipper will be out for a long period of time and Stuart Dallas is out.

“So we are up against it from that point of view and we going up against a QPR side who can score goals.”

Pontus Jansson and Kalvin Phillips are the central defenders Bielsa has picked against QPR.
