Former Hibernian attacker Tam McManus has indicated he expects Steven Gerrard to let rip at his Rangers stars in the dressing room following a 1-1 draw at Dundee.

Rangers missed the chance to draw level on points with rivals Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership standings after ten-men Dundee held out for 70 minutes.

The Gers fell behind in the ninth minute, when Kenny Miller struck, but following Nathan Ralph being sent off for a dangerous tackle on Daniel Candeias, went ahead through a superb Andy Halliday free-kick in the 21st minute.

Rangers could not break through a spirited Dundee defence and had to make do with a point at the league's second bottom club.

And McManus has indicated he expects Gerrard to let the Rangers players know he is less than happy.

The former Hibs star wrote on Twitter: "Wouldn’t like to be in that Rangers dressing room after that performance.

"Absolutely woeful.

"Credit to Dundee though outstanding desire, spirit and heart to dig out a precious point."

Rangers have now taken 31 points from 16 games, two fewer than league leaders Celtic, who have collected 33 from 15 games.

The Gers will now prepare for a do-or-die Europa League visit to Rapid Vienna.
