Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed a liking for life in Italy, but insists that he is under no inclination to leave Anfield at least until his current contract expires.

The Reds will go head to head with Napoli in a crucial Champions League Group C clash at Anfield on Tuesday night, where they need nothing short of a win, either 1-0 or by two clear goals, to book their berth in the knockout stages.

Despite their disappointing loss to Napoli in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, Klopp is aiming to make the best use of his resources to navigate their passage into the next round of the competition.

Furthermore, the German was asked about the interest from Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis’ while he was at Dortmund and revealed that he loves a few things in Italy, including the food.

However, Klopp insisted that he is under no inclination to leave Anfield at the moment, especially considering the fact that he has a three and half year contract with Liverpool.

“I still have three and half years in my contract and I’m not sure if anybody wants me after that”, Klopp said in a press conference, when asked if he could manage in Italy.

“I like Italy, I like Italian food, everything is fine, but unfortunately I don’t speak your language too well and I really think that’s cool.”

Klopp also joked about De Laurentiis being quite chatty and insisted that he has made a number of outstanding appointments in recent years with Maurizio Sarri and Carlo Ancelotti.

“The only problem is Aurelio is quite chatty! I don’t think I have ever told anybody about that conversation!”, he continued.

“But, I think he is really happy with all the choices he did in the past. Brining in Maurizio Sarri was incredible and now having Carlo [Ancelotti] back is outstanding.

“I think they are really happy with the coaches they had and have and in the moment, the people here are happy with me as well so we don’t have to think about changing anything.”

Liverpool climbed to the summit of the Premier League table with a win over Bournemouth on Saturday and will be aiming to replicate that form against Napoli on Tuesday.
