Kilmarnock goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann believes he has seen enough of Rangers to know they will push Celtic in the race for the Scottish Premiership title until the end.

The 24-year-old is currently on loan from Watford at the Premiership club and was most recently between the sticks when Kilmarnock lost at Celtic at the weekend.

The goalkeeper got an up close look at Celtic and he has also seen Steven Gerrard's Rangers in action.

Bachmann insists that the Gers look to be different under Gerrard and appear to be very much like the Rangers they were 12 to 15 years ago.

"Since he's there, there's been a big turnaround, and you can see Rangers are back to the club they were twelve or fifteen years ago", Bachmann told news agency APA.

Rangers are currently placed second on the Premiership table, two points behind league leaders Celtic, and Bachmann believes that the Gers have the ability to give Celtic a run for their money.

"I think they have a chance right up to the end."

Kilmarnock have performed well under Steve Clarke this season and are level on points with Rangers, but have played a game fewer.
