Manchester City winger Leroy Sane has revealed that he and his team-mates know that Pep Guardiola has to rotate the squad sometimes given that the Citizens have more than one good player for a certain position.

The Germany international has been in excellent touch of late, scoring as many as three goals in his last four league matches and also setting up two more for his team-mates.

Sane though does not mind making way for his team-mates as and when it is required as he understands his manager's dilemma with more than one quality player for every position.

“At the beginning I wasn’t playing as much. I had to find the way I play”, Sane said at a press conference via his club's site.

“I have to show I am ready and can do it and now I have found the way back to be in good form; I just want to keep going on with it.

“Yes, even if I’m not playing for a certain time, I am still happy to be here at this club.

“We all know he has to rotate sometimes. In certain positions, we have more than one good player.

"You have to accept it.”

The 22-year-old has made a total of 19 appearances for Manchester City so far this season, scoring six goals and chipping in with seven assists.
