On-loan Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has emerged as an option for AC Milan for the January transfer window.

The Belgian joined Valencia last summer on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea, but his stint in Spain has not gone according to plan thus far.

Scoring just three goals in 20 appearances for Valencia this season, the striker’s future at the club is uncertain and there is speculation his loan stint could be cut short.

Valencia coach Marcelino did not rule out sending Batshuayi back to Chelsea in January when he was recently asked and there is a possibility of that happening.

But the striker could find one more taker in January as according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, AC Milan are considering signing the striker in the winter window on another loan stint.

The Rossoneri are in the market for a striker and Batshuayi is one of the players the club are considering signing in January.

However, his wage package could be a stumbling block for AC Milan and it is also uncertain whether Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri will want to have the Belgian in his squad for the latter half of the season.

Valencia are also yet to decide on whether to cut short his loan stint in January.
