Roma are claimed to have rejected an offer of €32m from Arsenal for Cengiz Under, who is also wanted by Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs have of late been heavily linked with Under, amid suggestions they are preparing a bid to try to take the Turkey international to the Premier League.

Arsenal scouted Under earlier this week and, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, have had an offer for the wide-man knocked back by Roma.

It is claimed that the Gunners put €32m on the table for Under, but Roma rejected it; it is not clear when the bid was made.

Roma believe Under's value is far higher and are not willing to enter into talks for his sale unless a bid touches the €50m mark.

However, Roma are also determined not to sell the Turkey star in January.

The January transfer window is now just weeks away and clubs are sizing up their targets for the new year as they look to inject new life into their respective campaigns.

But with Roma having qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League, they are not prepared to consider selling Under until the summer.
