Hull City manager Nigel Adkins has insisted the club are not looking to sell Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur linked Jarrod Bowen and says no bids have yet arrived for the forward.

Bowen has been a key player for Hull, with six goals and two assists in 20 Championship games so far this season.

The 21-year old rose to prominence last season when he scored 14 times in the league for Hull and was lauded as one of the best attackers in the Championship.

Bowen scored two goals and helped his side beat QPR almost a fortnight ago and Tottenham scouts took in his performance; he has also been linked with Premier League outfit Fulham.

Adkins, however, remains adamant that the club are not looking to sell Bowen and no offers have been received by the Tigers.

“We’re not looking for him to leave”, Adkins was quoted as saying by the Hull Daily Mail.

“He’s just got to keep playing and working hard.

“January will be January.

"The question will get asked all the way through but as far as I’m aware we’ve not had any bids for him.

“We’ll just see what happens during the course of the January window but we’re not actively looking for Jarrod to move on.”

Hull have struggled for consistency so far this season and have picked up just 21 points from 21 games.

The Tigers have Bowen locked down on a contract until the summer of 2020.
