West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini has told his side not to get carried away after they recorded their fourth Premier League win on the bounce at Fulham.

The Hammers grabbed the lead at Craven Cottage in the 17th minute through Robert Snodgrass and then extended their advantage just before the half hour mark when Michail Antonio struck.

It finished 2-0 to the visitors despite Fulham enjoying 56 per cent possession and 16 shots at goal compared to West Ham's six, and Pellegrini's men have now broken into the top ten and sit ninth.

The West Ham manager was pleased with the performance, but has told his men not to get carried away.

"I think it was a good performance, because maybe we did not create too many chances but the chances we created, we scored", he told the BBC.

"In the second half we defended very well, I think we are defending better every game.

"Overall I’m very happy.

"Four wins in a row is not easy in the Premier League, but we must try to continue with our feet on the floor.

"It’s important to enjoy the game we played tonight and from Monday we will start thinking about the next game."

West Ham introduced Andy Carroll from the bench late on, demonstrating the options Pellegrini still has, despite being without key man Marko Arnautovic, who is injured.

The Hammers next host Watford on Saturday.
