West Ham United attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson says that he is enjoying his new role playing on the left wing for the Hammers.

The Brazilian was signed from Lazio for big money in the summer and after a slow start, he has picked up his form of late, having scored five times in the last six Premier League games.

Anderson was predominantly used as a right winger at his previous club, but has done well on the left this season.

The 25-year old as revealed that he likes to play on the left because it helps him cut inside and use his dribbling ability to get shots away.

“During my five years in Italy I didn’t get to play much on the left wing, but I am playing there now and it’s very well suited to my game because it allows me to exploit my vision, dribble, bring the ball inside, get assists and get shots away”, Anderson told West Ham United’s official website.

“In some ways it’s a new position for me and I’m really enjoying it and I’ve been reaping the rewards of that."
