Former Leeds United defender turned agent Ian Harte has lauded Jack Clarke for his performance against Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, a game the Whites won 1-0.

Clarke came on as a second-half substitute and added more flair to the attack as Marcelo Bielsa’s side were drawing with the Trotters at half time.

The 18-year old gave a good account of himself and Harte, who represents Clarke, praised the teenager for his ability to take on defenders and beat them for pace.

Harte was also happy with Patrick Bamford’s return as the 25-year old came off the bench to score the winner.

Harte wrote on Twitter: “Delighted for Patrick Bamford and Leeds United.

“Plus I see Jack Clarke terrorising defenders again.”

Clarke has often been brought on at the beginning of the second half as he has made seven substitute appearances for Leeds so far this season.

Bielsa has juggled his resources well, and Leeds will hope to continue their five-game winning streak when they face Aston Villa next weekend in the Championship.
