Tottenham Hotspur target Malcom is the subject of serious interest from China, with a €65m offer having been put in to Barcelona for the winger, according to Spanish daily AS.

Malcom joined Barcelona in the summer when the Catalan giants beat Roma to his signature, but has failed to break into the first team on a consistent basis.

Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham have been regularly linked with Malcom and could choose to offer the out-of-favour Brazilian a new home in January.

Tottenham did not sign a single player in the summer transfer window, but have done well to stay within touching distance of Liverpool and Manchester City at the business end of the Premier League table.

But if Tottenham do firm up their interest they may have to pay big money for Malcom, with Barcelona now having a €65m bid on the table from China.

Malcom has featured just five times for Barcelona in La Liga so far this season and has started just once in the process.

His representatives are keeping quiet about the prospect of a switch to China and it is unclear how Barcelona will respond.

The Brazilian made 96 appearances for Bordeaux and scored 23 goals in the process before moving to Camp Nou.
