Southampton talent Harrison Reed has revealed that Norwich City boss Daniel Farke dubbed goalkeeper Angus Gunn "Kate Moss" last term, while Blackburn Rovers shot-stopper David Raya is currently sporting the nickname "Peppa Pig".

Midfielder Reed is a product of Southampton's renowned youth set-up and was sent out to Norwich on a season-long loan deal last term.

He played under German tactician Farke at Carrow Road, while Gunn, who is now at Reed's parent club Southampton, was between the sticks for the Canaries.

And Reed has revealed that Farke was quick to give Gunn a nickname due to his leg shaving antics.

"The Norwich gaffer used to call Angus Gunn Kate Moss because he always used to shave his legs", Reed revealed to Blackburn's official site.

"In the meetings, Daniel Farke would always mention it."

Now at Ewood Park, Reed has witnessed another goalkeeper picking up a less than flattering nickname.

Goalkeeper Raya, who was drafted into Blackburn's youth ranks from Barcelona-based outfit Cornella, has been dubbed Peppa Pig, after the children's TV cartoon character.

"David Raya has been getting stick about his nose and is getting called Peppa Pig, but he also looks like someone from Whoville in The Grinch."

But the goalkeeper is not the only one to come in for playful stick at Ewood Park, with Bradley Dack also a target.

Reed explained: "We’ve also started to call Dacky Fridge Back because he has a fat back."
