Samu Saiz’s agent has revealed that the midfielder wants to see Leeds United reach the Premier League, while he is full of admiration for director of football Victor Orta and head coach Marcelo Bielsa.

Saiz has completed a six-month loan move to Spanish La Liga side Getafe after asking to leave Leeds due to personal issues.

The 27-year old joined Leeds in the summer of 2017 but following a good first season has struggled with the Whites this term.

Saiz made 19 appearances for Leeds and missed out on the matchday squad for the weekend win at Bolton Wanderers to complete his move to Getafe.

Getafe have the option to make Saiz’s loan deal permanent in the summer and his agent revealed that the player hopes Leeds can keep up their good run and make it to the Premier League.

“Samuel was delighted by Leeds, he loves the people and the city, but a personal problem made him come back to Madrid", Saiz's agent Juan Moreno told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
