Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has raved about playing under Jurgen Klopp and has admitted that the players have learned a lot since his arrival at the club.
The Reds returned to the top of the table as they beat Manchester United 3-1 on Sunday for the first time in nearly four years in the Premier League.
Klopp is renowned for his passion and getting the best out of players on the pitch with his approach and Firmino believes the German’s attitude means the players love playing under him.
Firmino, who has scored four times for the Reds so far in the Premier League, also hopes Liverpool can achieve something with Klopp.
“Playing for him is a really joyful experience. I love it, as do the rest of the team”, Firmino told Liverpool’s official website.
“We’ve learned so much from him since he arrived and we’ve only got better.
“He is what you see in public: the passion, the father figure.
“And he’s also got ambition to win titles and give his best and, as players, we can only win with what we learn from him.
“I hope that we can achieve something soon but we are just starting out.
"There is a lot of football still to play.”
Liverpool will hope to keep their place at the top of the table when they travel to Molineux to take on Wolves on Friday.
