Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts has once again lambasted the media for what he sees as them trying to disrupt the club.

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with taking over at Manchester United in the summer, following the Red Devils choosing to sack Jose Mourinho.

Tottenham’s press officer Simon Felstein had to intervene when a journalist from Sky Sports wanted to know what Pochettino thought about the speculation over a potential move to Manchester United during the Argentine’s press conference before Spurs’ clash against Everton.

Roberts has been critical about the media's role in the speculation and reiterated they should stop trying to disrupt matters at the club and instead interview Zinedine Zidane, who has also been linked with the Manchester United job.

“Why don’t they go and interview Zidane instead of trying to disrupt our club", Roberts wrote on Twitter, as he took aim at the media.

Spurs have made good progress under Pochettino and Manchester United are speculated to want him to take over in the summer.
