Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts says he knows Mauricio Pochettino is very happy at Spurs, as speculation linking him with the Manchester United job continues to swirl.
Pochettino, who took over at White Hart Lane in 2014, has established himself as one of the most reputed managers in the Premier League since then.
The Argentinean has been constantly linked with a move away from north London due to his growing reputation and stature as one of the brightest managers in England.
And, the dismissal of Jose Mourinho last week has given new life to the rumours linking Pochettino with the job at Old Trafford, but Roberts says that he knows the Spurs boss is happy in north London.
However, the Spurs legend also admitted that just like in life, anything can happen in football as well and hence reiterating that it is hard to know for sure about the future of Pochettino.
“[Pochettino will be] at Spurs [next season], but anything in football can happen same as in life so who knows for sure”, Roberts wrote on Twitter.
“All I know is he is very, very happy [at the club].”
Pochettino, who signed a five-year extension with Tottenham in May, has yet to win a single trophy in his managerial career.
