Leeds United are poised to table a bid for Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen with a view to signing him in the January transfer window.

Marcelo Bielsa has been guarded about Leeds’ plans for the winter window and has often indicated that he might not sign anyone in January.

But it seems the club are moving towards making additions to their squad in order to make sure they sustain their promotion bid in the second half of the season.

And it has been claimed that the Whites are considering strengthening their attack, and Hull winger Bowen has emerged as a target for the club in the winter window.

According to BBC Humberside, the 22-year-old is set to be a subject of a multi-million-pound bid from the Yorkshire giants soon.

Bowen is on Bielsa’s shortlist of targets and Leeds are keen to move in order to get a deal over the line as soon as possible.

A product of the Hull academy, the winger has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 22 Championship games this season.

It remains to be seen whether Bowen is in the Hull side that will take on Leeds at Elland Road on Saturday in the background of his future being up for discussion.

He has a contract until 2020 with the Tigers.
