Paris Saint-Germain have touched base with the representatives of Aaron Ramsey and Arsenal to discuss the feasibility of signing the Wales midfielder in the quickly approaching January transfer window.

Ramsey is out of contract at the end of the season and he is unlikely to sign a new deal with Arsenal after talks between the two parties broke down earlier this year.

The Welshman has insisted that he wants to see out the season at Arsenal, but the club are prepared to listen to offers for the midfielder during the January transfer window.

There has already been talk of Juventus wanting to sign him and it has been claimed that PSG are also considering taking him to the French capital this winter

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, PSG have been in touch with Ramsey’s entourage and have also opened talks with Arsenal to proposed a move in the January window.

Ramsey’s contract situation has given PSG encouragement to make a move for him as they might not have to spend big in terms of transfer fees to sign him in January.

It has been claimed that a fee anywhere between €10m to €20m might be good enough to convince Arsenal to sell the midfielder next month.
